Location of the Battle:
The battle of Midway was a battle that took place in the air and on the ocean. None of the fighting took place on land. The Americans were coming from off of the West coast and from the Hawaiin Islands. Japanese forces came from the island of Japan and some surronding territories. The fighting took place near the Islands of Midway and in between the Islands of Japan and Hawaii. It went as far South of what is now Indonesia and as far North as the Islands of Alaska.
